Lip has mismatched crockery, a small space, and meals such as vegan chilli tofu with eggplant and beans. With the lavish cakes display and hand-painted birds on the wall, Lip has the feel of a cheery share-house after a visit from everyone's mums. Practically everything is made here, such as rich tomato chutney served with potato roesti and mushrooms, with perhaps an Istra sausage on the side. Lip-smackingly good.
