US classified documents hunt spreads to Pence
Washington | Former vice-president Mike Pence is the latest of potential 2024 presidential candidates to reveal he had stored classified documents at his private residence, raising questions about who is next to confess and what that means for their tilt for the top job.
Following investigations into former president Donald Trump and current president Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents, Mr Pence engaged lawyers “out of an abundance of caution”, to review records stored in his personal home, where some documents bearing classified markings were discovered.
