Trump to use Guantanamo Bay prison to house migrants
Washington | President Donald Trump said he is ordering the construction of a massive detention camp with 30,000 beds at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba, outlining plans for the largest US facility of its kind.
Speaking before signing a bill to expand the number of immigrant detainees held in US custody for minor property crimes, Mr Trump said the camp would “detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people” and be “a tough place to get out of.”
