Washington | US prosecutors have filed a revised set of charges against Donald Trump over his alleged attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, thrusting his legal woes back into the spotlight with just over two months to go in the White House race.
US Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team obtained the new indictment in the Washington case, though it was highly unlikely to proceed to trial ahead of the November 5 election when the Republican Trump faces Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
