Washington | US fire and rescue officials say they believe 67 people have been killed after a fiery mid-air crash between an American Airlines passenger jet and an Army helicopter at a Washington DC airport.

“At this point we do not believe there were any survivors,” District of Columbia fire chief John Donnelly said at a Friday press conference.
