Washington | Billionaire Anthony Pratt has pledged $US5 billion ($7.8 billion) to support President Donald Trump’s push to re-industrialise America, joining a group of corporate leaders visiting the White House to mark the administration’s first 100 days.
Pratt, who became a permanent US resident last year and is now based in New York, said the investment will result in 5000 new manufacturing jobs across the US in the rust belt states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and in Arizona in the south-west.
