New Orleans | A vehicle raced into a crowd of New Orleans revellers early on New Year’s Day, killing 15 people and injuring 30 others in what the FBI is investigating as an act of terrorism.

The driver of the vehicle was killed in a firefight with police following the attack around 3.15am (8:15pm AEDT) on Wednesday along Bourbon Street in the city’s bustling French Quarter, the FBI said.
