Black Rock Desert, Nevada | It’s hard to describe the Burning Man festival, staged each year in the middle of the Nevada desert, to the uninitiated.

An “arts and music festival” undersells this unique gathering where anything goes and many “real world” basics such as money do not exist. Think Mad Max meets Alice in Wonderland in a Woodstock setting.
