NATO accuses China of fuelling Putin’s war in Ukraine

Washington/ Canberra/ Tokyo | NATO allies on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) called China a “decisive enabler” of Russia’s war against Ukraine and demanded Beijing halt shipments of “weapons components” and other technology critical to rebuilding Russia’s military.

In NATO’s most serious rebuke against Beijing, the 32 members and their allies approved a sternly worded statement at their summit in Washington that made clear China is becoming a focus of the military alliance.
