Ottawa | Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada’s old relationship with the United States is “over” and is vowing that there will be a “broad renegotiation” of the trade agreement between the countries.
Carney said Canada would fight back against President Donald Trump’s trade war and his tariffs on the motor vehicle sector. But he declined to outline new retaliatory moves against the US until April 2, the day Trump has promised to unveil another round of import taxes.
