US President Joe Biden is likely to remember Thursday as his worst day in office.

It was the day when 13 US service members were killed in a terrorist bomb outside Kabul’s international airport as they helped desperate people escape the clutches of Taliban rule ahead of the August 31 deadline for US military withdrawal.
