Washington | Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers welcomed the Trump administration’s moves to dump its so-called “revenge tax” which threatened to cut billions from Australian superannuation funds’ returns in the United States.
Superannuation funds look to have won a reprieve after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced on Thursday (Friday AEST) that he has asked US lawmakers to walk back the terms of the tax in a major budget bill.
