Washington | US President Donald Trump on Friday (Saturday AEST) revived threats to fire Jerome Powell and said he had exhausted criticism of the Federal Reserve chairman’s interest rate policy.

Trump made the comments in a lengthy social media post criticising the Federal Reserve’s decision this past week to not lower interest rates.
