Biden orders more strikes as US hits Houthi cruise missile
Jerusalem/Washington/Tehran/London | The US says it will keep targeting Iranian-backed militants after unleashing two of its biggest waves of strikes since hostilities erupted across the Middle East following the Israel-Hamas war.
While Washington was eager to avoid an “open-ended military campaign” around the region, President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said the US was “prepared to deal with anything that any group or any country tries to come at us with”.
