WHO chief at Yemen airport as Israeli warplanes strike

Jerusalem | The Israeli military unleashed a significant air assault on Thursday (Friday AEDT) on parts of Yemen controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in retaliation for the group’s missile attacks on Israel.
The warplanes struck multiple targets across Yemen, including the country’s largest airport, where the head of the World Health Organization was about to board a flight.
