Israel is winning the war against Hamas but losing public opinion
Public opinion has turned against Israel as the number of civilian Palestinian casualties mount from retaliatory airstrikes.
Mark Regev is one of the faces spinning Israel’s war. Melbourne-born and educated (he still follows Collingwood’s fortunes), Regev, a former Israeli ambassador to the UK and spokesman for Benjamin Netanyahu, put his university job on hold and went back into government service following the October 7 terror attack.
Since Sunday, Regev has given at least 18 interviews to major news outlets including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and BBC.
