Hezbollah praises pro-Palestine marches in Melbourne and Sydney
Thousands of protesters marked a year since the terrorist attacks that triggered the latest Middle East conflict with rallies against Israel, as experts warned that Hezbollah was using images of Australian demonstrators to garner international support in a propaganda war.
Hundreds of people gathered at a mosque in the Sydney suburb of Lakemba on Monday evening, and thousands attended separate rallies at Sydney Town Hall and in Melbourne’s CBD.
