In the first episode of the new season of the Russian reality television show Mama at 16, about teen girls facing an unwanted pregnancy, no one thinks abortion is an option.
In previous seasons, when it was called Pregnant at 16, some characters at least broached the topic of abortion, but such sentiment is now not just disapproved of in Russia, it will soon be illegal.
