London | Right-wing populist Nigel Farage has said “broken Britain” needs to slash taxes by almost £100 billion ($190 billion) and take an axe to public spending, while “freezing” immigration.
His Reform UK party’s “unashamedly radical” policy program, was released late on Monday (AEST) as his party continues to close the gap in opinion polling with beleaguered Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party.
