Sam Kerr found not guilty of racist slur

London | A jury has unanimously found Matildas captain Sam Kerr not guilty of racially harassing a London police officer whom she called “f---ing stupid and white”.

The verdict at Kingston Crown Court – after about four hours of jury deliberation, and a seven-day trial – draws a line under a two-year saga that has loomed over the soccer superstar’s formerly immaculate reputation.
