Kwasi Kwarteng says BoE will be to blame for any UK market ructions

London | UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng said the Bank of England would be responsible if UK markets suffered renewed volatility after its bond-buying program ends on Friday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund’s annual meetings in Washington, Dr Kwarteng told Sky News that any turmoil after the central bank withdraws support “is a matter for the governor”.
