London | A suburban London court has seen video footage of Matildas captain Sam Kerr calling a police officer “f---ing stupid and white”, on the first day of a trial where a jury must decide if she racially harassed him during a late-night altercation two years ago.

In almost half an hour of footage from police body-worn cameras shown to the jury and public in court, Ms Kerr repeatedly swears at Police Constable Stephen Lovell. He subsequently brought a criminal charge of racially aggravated harassment against her.
