London | One of Britain’s oldest men’s clubs, the Garrick, is a step closer to admitting women members following a historic decision by the club’s general committee.
The committee accepted the legal opinion of David Pannick KC on Thursday (Friday AEDT) that women are already eligible to join the exclusive club, which counts spy bosses, Supreme Court justices and Hollywood actors as members.
