China, EU agree to talks to head off EV trade war

Shanghai | With billions of dollars in trade at stake, China and the European Union have agreed to engage in talks to resolve an escalating dispute over tariffs.
Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao and EU Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis will hold discussions on the European plan for tariffs on electric cars from China.
