Brussels | Australia’s latest export to Britain and Europe wasn’t grown on a farm or dug from the ground – it was harvested from the offices of politicians and bureaucrats in Canberra.
On Friday (AEDT), the 27 leaders of the European Union held their first discussion on what they are calling “return hubs” for illegal migrants – what the concept’s inventor, Australia, refers to as offshore processing centres.
