Singapore stimulus surges past $100 billion

Sydney | The Singapore government's determination to hang on to the city-state's reputation as an international trade hub has helped push its pandemic stimulus package into uncharted territory.

A further $S8 billion ($8.1 billion) in business and wage support announced on Monday takes total stimulus spending to $S100.5 billion, equal to 20 per cent of GDP.
