Tokyo | Tech innovator James Fielding just spent the weekend poring over thousands of US customs documents, hopeful of finding a loophole in Donald Trump’s war against Chinese imports to the United States.
But the chief executive of ASX-listed headphone manufacturer Audeara was once again left disappointed. Trump’s exemption on smartphones and other consumer electronics from his steep “reciprocal” tariffs includes some headphones, but not probably not the ones Audeara makes.
