COVID-19 borders come tumbling down in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong
Tokyo | Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong have unveiled plans to reopen their borders fully to international travellers, leaving only mainland China and North Korea with COVID-19 entry restrictions still in place.
Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, in New York for the first United Nations General Assembly since the pandemic started, said on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) that his government would further relax broader control measures from next month.
