One of the first things I see when I arrive at the Amazon Australia reception desk on the 18th floor of the company’s Melbourne CBD headquarters is Marley, a yellow labrador quietly walking on a leash closely to his human, Rebecca Gardner.

It’s why I’m here: to find out what it’s like to work in an office where every day is bring your dog to work day. During my visit, I met four dogs and their human companions, all of whom appear to be happy with the arrangement.
