Senior executive fights for payout following Cromwell purge
A purged senior executive is suing ASX-listed fund manager Cromwell Property Group and its new chief executive for close to a million dollars after a bruising takeover.
Former chief sustainability officer, Phil Cowling, is claiming Cromwell unlawfully fired him and deprived him of generous retention benefits when a hostile investor, Singapore’s ARA Asset Management, unseated the leadership of the billion-dollar fund.
