Few start-up founders can say they received a $10 million offer to buy their company a mere 80 days after launch. But that’s what happened at Inspiring Vacations, which appears in this year’s AFR Fast Starters list. The business sells small and large organised group tours.

Managing director Paul Ryan, who is one of three co-founders, alongside Brendon Cooper and James Cathie, says the business was turning over $100 million dollars within 21 months of starting in March 2018. “We were successful because we were first, aggressive and rapid in our approach to market.”
