Bosses continue to push 5-day-office edict

Companies insisting employees return to the office five days a week are not backing down on mandates, despite Peter Dutton’s spectacular election loss and the brutal voter feedback he received after his move to force public servants back to the office full-time.

NAB confirmed there would be no changes to the bank’s policy of senior leaders being expected in the office five days a week. Amazon and Dell, which ordered staff back to the office five days a week earlier this year, said no changes had been made to policies that were ultimately set at a global level.
