This exec wants more than a CEO role. She wants to be an astronaut
Renee Wootton is one of the 2024 BOSS Young Executives. She works in the fledgling sustainable aviation sector but her real goal is to go to the International Space Station.
Renee Wootton’s childhood in south-east Queensland took in the early divorce of her parents, custody battles, abuse, the suicide of her father and an escape to live with her aunt and uncle in a different state.
“We had a pretty rough family situation,” Wootton, a Tharawal woman, says of her younger years.
