Scott Wyatt has been with the same company – Viva and Shell before it – for more than three decades, but change is in the air he couldn’t be more excited.
Outsiders could be forgiven for thinking that Scott Wyatt, chief executive of Viva Energy, is a man who objects to change. After all he has spent nearly his entire professional career at effectively the same company. He has never even formally had to apply for a promotion.
But the interpretation would be unfair. Wyatt knows his task is to be a change agent.
