Back in 2011, once a month, Jacqueline Hey would make the journey to the office of the chancellor of RMIT in Melbourne.

At the time, Hey, whose portfolio of directorships now includes the chairmanship of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank, was studying the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ course, having left a high-flying executive career in the technology field.
