Canva, founded in 2013, has for years been one of Australia’s highest-profile, and most glamorous, unicorns. But it was this year when the design software maker turned from flashy start-up into a global enterprise software player.
Founders Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht used Canva’s well-stocked coffers to land two critical acquisitions this year.
