Microsoft’s Bill Gates likened working with an executive coach to the physical and mental training undertaken by top sports athletes and said feedback on his leadership style had helped him become more self-aware.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia chief Matt Comyn said his coaches, who include leadership and transformation specialist Andrew May, had helped him manage stress and recovery while leading Australia’s largest bank.
