The Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation has gifted $50 million to the University of Queensland to fund 150 undergraduate scholarships and a new course to begin next year.
Under the memorandum of understanding to be announced on Thursday, UQ will offer a new major in Western civilisation as part of its advanced humanities honours program.
