Mark Scott on what Australia should learn from Trump’s Harvard attack

University of Sydney vice-chancellor Mark Scott has urged the Albanese government to avoid following the United States in a race to the bottom on international enrolments after the Trump administration moved to ban foreign students from Harvard University.

The Trump order, which has been temporarily blocked by a judge, represents a major escalation in the White House’s battle with elite universities over what it claims is a failure to prevent antisemitism on campuses.
