IDP Education profits as students switch to other countries

Australia’s closed borders have been a boon for IDP Education as students shifted preferences to universities and colleges in Canada, Britain, Ireland and the United States and helping to revive the company’s fortunes with an almost 50 per cent increase in revenue.

With preferences to study in the Northern Hemisphere surging, IDP Education said student placement revenue rose 36 per cent in the six months to December 31.
