Former Cranbrook teacher sues school alleging unsafe environment

A former teacher at Sydney private school Cranbrook, who a student attempted to extort for nude photographs, is suing the elite institution for failing to support her and creating an unsafe work environment.

Jasmin Hyde, a former mathematics teacher at Cranbrook, complained about her treatment to the Australian Human Rights Commission in October 2023. She has now lodged a Fair Work application against the school in the Federal Court of Australia.
