Engage with business to create new courses, says new UTS boss
Tailoring courses to help the workforce adapt to meet the skills needed by employers will be a priority of the University of Technology’s new vice-chancellor who will take up the role next Monday.
Andrew Parfitt, a satellite communications expert and space industry pioneer who has been provost at UTS since 2017, said the university’s next significant phase would be to diversify its postgraduate course offerings with a focus on working with industry partners.
