The scandal-prone private Cranbrook School in Sydney’s wealthy Bellevue Hill will have its first female principal after recruiting Anne Johnstone from Ravenswood School for Girls.
Ms Johnstone, who was named school principal of the year in the 2024 Australian Education Awards, will step into the breach after Cranbrook found itself engulfed in an acrimonious split from its previous headmaster Nicholas Sampson earlier this year.
