The grad app that’s like Tinder for jobs

A new jobs platform seeks to match employers and employees using algorithms that link mutual values, motivations and goals, rather like dating apps, widening both the opportunities available and the candidates who might suit them, says its co-founder Adam Jacobs.

Mr Jacobs, who founded online fashion retailer The Iconic, said the arrival of his company Hatch marks a generational shift in searching for a job, akin to when classified ads in newspapers moved onto online job boards. The latter, he argues, will soon be obsolete.
