I’m paid $99,170 as a nanny – the kids like me more than their parents
My employers tend to work in high-powered finance jobs. The money and lifestyle may seem envious, but they are never there for their children.
I am a trained teacher, but I went into nannying as I wasn’t sure if I’d ever have children of my own. I’ve always been single, but I love children and couldn’t imagine my life without them in some way.
As a nanny, I get to have children in my life and get to shape them – while earning a decent salary of about £50,000 ($99,170) a year.
