Diversity ‘more than just women’, says STEM review chief
Sally-Ann Williams’ journey to becoming a deep-tech investor might have been by “accident and hard work” and a generous dash of talent, but her mission as head of a new federal taskforce to instigate more diversity in science and technology is to ensure others have a “visible pathway”.
Ms Williams is chairing a panel of four women who will investigate the myriad federally funded programs that seek to encourage more women into science, technology, engineering and maths careers, and figure out what works and what doesn’t.
