hen it comes to Australian equities, Perpetual has long been a household name but the market has been slow to realise – or care – that it does global too.
The Global Share Fund, headed by former PM Capital fund manager Garry Laurence, began in 2011, but was opened to investors in 2014. Two years later, it has $650 million in funds under management. It pales in comparison with Perpetual’s total funds under management, which hit $29.8 billion in the quarter to March 31.
