Battered super funds eye positive 2023
Balanced superannuation funds finished 2022 down almost 5 per cent after a turbulent year on local and global stock markets wiped tens of billions of dollars from Australians’ $3.3 trillion retirement savings pool.
Top funds still managed to outperform sharemarkets, according to rankings released by the nation’s two leading non-government analysts, but that will be cold comfort for people looking at a year of lost momentum.
