Despite all the talk of internet shopping killing off bricks and mortar, Australia faces an undersupply of shopping centres in the coming years, providing investors with an attractive opportunity to profit from the shortage.

Strong immigration-fuelled population growth, a robust employment market and rising incomes will all stoke retail spending in the years to come, and much of the extra money will end up in shopping centres.
