Progress to gender financial equality is back in positive gear, helped by record advancements in the gender pay gap and more women on boards, the latest Financy Women’s Index (FWX) shows.

The result signals a return of overall momentum in progress among the seven indicators included in the index, and coincides with a broader cultural shift assisted by phenomena such as the Matildas’ success in the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Barbie movie.
